HISTORY

"We knew there had to be a better food solution for when we were working long hours"

Rush Hour Catering was founded in 1982 by Patricia Stoll and Mary Noonan, two Ravenswood City School District teachers, who were inspired to provide wholesome gourmet "Take Out" dinners for working professionals tired of Pizza every night!

HOW WE STARTED

Rush Hour was initially located at the Keystone Nightclub in Palo Alto, where Patty and Mary prepared meals for such musicians as Billy Idol and Neil Young - while continuing to build their takeout service. However it soon became apparent that their business was growing in a different direction, and they eventually moved into their own space where they made the transition to a full service catering company.

A successful event is about more than delicious food, It’s about great service. Today, Rush Hour has built a strong reputation for providing fresh, delicious and reasonably priced meals for private parties as well as local Corporations, Law Firms, Foundations, and Universities. Whether it is a personal party, your company’s annual picnic, or even a weekly staff luncheon, Rush Hour Catering wants to help make your upcoming event a memorable one.
